Blah blah blah..

I'm 'on one' today so this post is gonna be a bit of a ramble and a moan!! lol

Here goes..

I put a load of veg in my new slow cooker last night before i came to work - got home this morning and after 10 hours of it slowly simmering away, the veg was still rock hard! grrr, so i switched the setting onto high and buggered off to bed. Got up at 2pm and guess what, the sodding veg was hardly any softer!!! I'd put swede, carrots and sweet potato in along with a couple of stock cubes (i had already made the meaty part of the stew the day before) I was just doing this extra veg to add to it, i may as well have just steamed the extra veg, it would have been way quicker and i wouldn't have wasted 15 hours of my electricity!! - oh well eh?!

A little later i stuck my head out of my room window and took the ' your neighbourhood' photo for #marchphotoaday, and was gonna pop across to the library to upload pics 1, 2 and 3 - but by the time i had eaten lunch and got ready, it was already 15:50 - the library closes at 4 on a Saturday so i couldn't upload the photo's :-( - Will have to do that post on Monday or Tuesday now.. hmpf!!
I do have a PC at home but i haven't yet been and bought a dongle so i can have internet access at home - really need to do that this week!!!

I seem to be flagging quite abit lately and i'm finding it hard to be enthusiastic :-/ ..things just seem to be bugging me more and i'm finding myself being more and more frustrated.. which i really do need to snap out of because it's not good!!
From the 13th March, i have 10 days off work.. which can't come soon enough!! I just need a break and to have some time to myself! I am currently in the process of re-decorating my place, so i'm going to crack on with that and get as much done as i can with no interuptions!!
One thing i am excited about though.. I am going to a Black Stone Cherry gig in Sheffield on the 17th - CANNOT wait for that!! :D

Hang on in there, i'm nearly done! lol..

One other thing that really annoys me.. when people say things they don't mean!!! grrrr.. like 'i miss you' for example.. don't tell someone you miss them when you've made no effort at all to change it!!
Don't say something just to keep someone sweet or because you think it's what they want to hear - because it's not! Don't say one thing, then do another.. or even worse, not do anything at all! Either don't say anything to begin with or if you do, just be honest!!! - sorry if this doesn't make enough sense, i'm not really one for airing my dirty laundry in public lol so i can't really say what i really want to say - but you get the jist... i hope!

Anyway, that'll do for now.. don't you think?! lol - it's 00:58 and i'm at work, i only have another 7 hours to go! :-/ lol.. so i think it's time for a coffee and a biscuit!
